York Toastmasters adopt a highway

The York Toastmasters Club has voted to participate in the Adopt-A-Highway program! In the coming months, the club will be assigned a portion of nearby Route 24 as its adopted highway. Club members will meet throughout the year to collect trash and debris from the designated portion of the highway.

The project was spearheaded by club member and incoming Vice President of Education, Heidi Puente. "York Toastmasters Club feels strongly that serving the community is an important part of our mission as a club," said Puente. "This is simply another way we found to serve area residents."
